Model PSAKAE - 003003KS

Took my laptop on holiday recently. When l left home it was working fine. When l got on the plane and tried to switch it on, it was dead. When l had the opportunity to get to some mains supply, it was still dead. L have checked the power cable and smelt around the laptop to see if burnt or something, no smell and power seems ok. What else can l check or how do l reset? Did the x ray machine at the border fry it?

try removing the battery and just the mains plugged in and bootup

Take out the battery, and start it up with just the power cord plugged in.

I just said it in non computer language for them to understand :) lol

battery out and only power cord...still nothing. Battery by itself...nothing. No power cord and battery and pressed power button for 20 seconds then inserted power cord...nothing. No power light or sounds in any of the above situations

weird that you have nothing ,time to contact Toshiba they may have a magic fix for it
