hello all, i wonder if anyone there can help. i recently aquired a macbook g3 (i think!) because the lady who owned it previously said that her daughter spilt orange juice over the macbook and now it doesn't work. i opened it up, cleaned it and powered the machine, presto it boots up, but.......no screen and no sound. i've literally stripped the whole machine and cleaned each and every port but still nothing. is there a way of getting the screen to function or am i selling it in parts i know work?????

Hi,
Generally if anything like no sound or no screen happen it means something is wrong with the motherboard. If you can do it yourself try it or show to an expert. i am sure once you fix your motherboard, it should be fine.
