Hi everyone, this is my first post and I was hoping someone might be able to throw some help at me!
Its 2 things i don't know what happened - it must have been something I've installed - an update or something. But ever since I haven't been able to drag and drop and also the background doesn't instantly change, it only changes after shuting down and restarting.
Does anyone have any clues on what to do?

what kind of OS do you have?
What kind of software did you install?
Did you already hold down the option+apple key down while booting? After it's boot finished a message will appear if you want to rebuilt your desktop file.
Worth a try.
