Hi,
I was working with Vista for quite some time and I made a mistake of making the apache and mysql as services. After a long hours of work, I hibernated my machine. Later when i tried to get my system up, It would get me as following:
#1. Login screen
#2. Black screen, I think, windows startup gets started here.
Solution I opted was to use the Recovery CD 1 & 2 , which i got with Toshiba purchase kit. I made a system restore and installed the softwares again.Strnage is that , I find the same happening when I log off or lock the computer but this issue never comes if we stops apache and mysql services and then does whatever.
I thought to post at few places to know more on this and to make a notifying pointer.
