What version of vista do you use?

Home premium. Needed media center and didn't see the point in going all the way for Ultimate. I suspect home premium is the most popular distro-- erm, version out there.

Well went for Home Premium... I didn't want to spend to much, but Home Basic is only meant for a garbache can seeing there is almost nothing you can do to optimize it... (like shutting down UAC)

i use vista business - need domain support etc... for college
i also use windows 2000

win2k is for games - seem to run better in it because the OS doesnt eat all the RAM and GPU
