One of our vendors upgraded their EPC program to a new, completely different format from the original. Once installed, our Windows 9x machines won't load the application without displaying, first, a "Program Error Intercepted" box that gives the option of typing in what you were doing when you got this message. Then, an applet pops up with 429: ActiveX Component Can't Create Targe. The app then shuts down back to the desktop.

Upon speaking with the program's tech support, I tried downloading and installing MS MDAC 2.6 SP2. No joy. After that, I was told that I was on my own.

Please help.
