Are you sitting comfortably? then I'll begin..................

When God was in short trousers I was playing around with z80 microprofessors and programming simple hex programs


I am now looking at using an old and spare win98 computer to turn on and off simple electronic circuits via an I/O port, either series or parallel which ever is easiest

Only problem is I haven't a clue as to what's available software wise that allow me to play about and write the code to do this...............................or even if it's still available for 98

Any advice or information would be appreciated
