i was given a dell desktop computer that had the hard drive wiped clean, I installed the windows xp disk in the cd drive and it statred loading the operating system. while it was loading for about 5 minutes i had the great idea to wipe the dust off the unit while doing so i d/c the power and when i pluged it back in i get the message

error loading operating system_

ii there any way to fix this

try putting the disc in then turn it off then back on. if not then put disc in go to your bios settings make it boot from disc.
