Hi everyone.
One of the users who has called in for support says that everytime he boots his XP machine he gets a message. "Preboot assessment build selected press escape to abort testing". He presses ESC and machine boots normally. Does anyone have any ideas?
There is nothing in MSCONFIG to make it start. It is a XP machine with SP2.

You can do the Google search yourself - I'm not sure what would run this automatically except for the possibility that the F12 key is stuck?
Too bad it's not a desktop unit, that would be easy to switch and try.
