Problem in Deleting partition

I have two partitions in my hard disc.
One is Primary DOS Partition and another is extended DOS-partition.
And there are two logical dos drives inside the Extended DOS Partition.

I want to delete the existing partitions and make new partitions,
but when I am going to delete the Extended DOS Partition, it displayes a
message "Extended DOS partition can not be deleted while Logical drives exists"
but when I am going to delete the Logical Drives or trying to display the Logical Drives,
It shows message "No Logical Drives Exists".

Could anyone please help how to delete this existing partitions in this situation and
make new partitions?

What OS are you trying to install?

Dont use FDISK. Its obsolete. Use the built in partition manager in NT based systems.

If you are using WinXP,than you can simply
use the WinXP bootable CD to delete and
create new partitions.

But still If the problem persists then let us know.

Use the partition manager during the bluecsreen part of the XP installer

You wish to delete all partitions? Then simply erase the MBR. How? There are tools to do that.. partition managers [Easus is one] or specialty tools [MBRWhiskey, TestDisk]

This dl contains both the GUI and commandline versions of MBRWhiz [or MBRWhiskey].
And I would have thought that JB's suggestion would do the job.
