hi,
I know u all would say that it is a problem well talked about in other threads, but my problem is different.
I have also been using XP SP2 and since i was facing this problem I formatted my computer as last resort not knowing what to do..to fix this problem....but all said and done problem still persist.
Also my connection seems to have its own will......it sometimes connects to the internet and sometimes it stays disconnected.
Without any reason
can't explain why...???????

please help me............!!!!!!!!

could be your NIC faulty...if your using lan cable..try using other cables..

but how you connect to internet through wireless, modem or what?

through modem...i tried using USB cable which came with the kit

is it a laptop or desktop?
if its laptop make sure you are disabling wireless.
if desktop , do you have a router? if you do , get a static internal IP.
if you don't have a router get one,
