Hi I Have This Problem and it is
I had some viruses so i got avg anti cirus and got them out but then i realized i didnt have an ip address and i cant access the internet so i go to command prompt and do ipconfig /release and then i put ipconfig /renew and it says error spc server unavailable . so i have switched my network card to a different place and it still doesnt work

HELP!
(i am on a different comp)

Try winsockfix from here:
http://www.digitalminds.net/index.pl/downloads

If it still doesn't work, go to Start, Run, and type in cmd, click OK. Type in ipconfig/all and post all the information that comes up.
