Your pc is probably infected.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure to checkmark the Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
* Post the log back here.

Make sure that you restart the computer.

Post a Hijackthis log and I will be able to see if there is anything left over.

Hi Rik,

I have posted Hijackthis log in previous post.
I have a few queries on XP.
1. Should I put on Windows Auto Update, its keep on restarting my PC by itself, its a real nuisance, what u think?
2. I am using AVG 8.5 licensed version, is that fine or some other scan should I use? what about e-scan software, some people are suggesting?
3. How often should I run Malwarebytes scan in my PC? Does protect against real time spyware attack?

Thank you.

Have HJT fix the following by placing a tick next to the entry.

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5C255C8A-E604-49b4-9D64-90988571CECB} - (no file)

Then click the "fix checked" button.

AVG isnt as good as it used to be so use Mbam once a week and whenever you PC feels "odd".

There is no evidence of an antivirus scanner in your HJT log.

Avast Antivirus is good and free.
Get it to do a full scan.

Windows update should really be left on so that you get all the security updates.

Hi Rk,

unale to setup avast.

There doesn't appear to be a malware problem on your PC so perhaps doing a scandisk may be a good idea. INSTRUCTIONS

I did a scan disk, so where to find the log? also I want to give you the details of the Processes running in Task manager to analyse, can you help where to get it. Thanks Rik.

Hi Rik, Something happening today, 5 times the system went to blue screen, memory error, memory dump etc... and when it restarts it pops up "windows recoverered from a serious memory error, do u want to send this report", I didn't send but the error says, signature error, and
BCCode : 100000c5 BCP1 : 00000000 BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 : 00000001
BCP4 : 805446DC OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 3_0 Product : 768_1

I think you need to test your ram next. Google and get memtest and run it for at least 7 passes (it will take a long time). If you get any errors at all then your ram is faulty.

I bought 1Gb RAM on last Sat, I had 256 before. I have gone to http://www.memtest.org/ and downloaded a zip file but dont know how to run it, aftering extracting it, does not have a exe file, please suggest.

What format did you download it in?

What format did you download it in?

memtest86+-2.11.iso.zip
then extracted memtest86+-2.11.iso vy Winace.
Then wrote Boot folder and readme into CD and tried to boot through CD ROM but going to windows again. I changed the booting sequence through System setup by F10, but starting to windows.
