I cofigured a ftp server through windows ISS . I used a tutorial. As instructed on that i could create c:\inetpub\ftproot directry on my computer.
But the problem is that I can't access it from anther computer.
When I try to access using ftp:// <IP address> it says,

Connection Interrupted
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again.

My connection was gud, i'm pretty sure.
what should I do?

Firewall problem?

But really... i dont reccomend using the FTP part of IIS, especially on XP. There have been lots of vulnerabilities for it lately.

How can I configure a ftp server in my computer then? (I don't want the clients to use 3rd party softwares to access it.)
