Ok so here's the story. I recently bought a laptop off of a friend of mine the other day. So I re-formatted it and everything to get rid of all their old files and start fresh. This is where I run into my problem, I get everything all set up till my internet. Now I installed the driver to my wireless card and it shows a status saying it's connected and everything. But when I goto AOL setup or Internet Explorer setup to set it up it says that I have nothing connected. I've tried so many things and no matter what I do I cannot get on the internet. Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this problem? I've been stuck on it for 3 days. Thanks.

I reformatted a hard drive and needed to do a system restore and had the same problem you had of not being able to access the internet. What did you do? Thanks.
