Since I bought my new HP jp6520f, I have been having a problem regularly with loading Windows 7. At startup I hear Windows and other programs loading but all I get is my desktop void of all icons. Often it loads when I restart, but sometimes it takes two or three times before Windows load. Does anyone know if this is a Windows problem or my computer?

Is it a new computer WITH windows 7 already installed or is it an upgrade ?? Also what are you systole specs and what do you have loading in your startup ??
Plus is it maybe a dual boot you have it set up to do ??
By th way might want to heck with HP as they just had a motherboard BIOS update because of slow loading on startup and black or blank screen. This would be the update and place you need to search for it or call them if it shows as wrong one.
