XP not being very nice when trying to install on SATA
Can hear windows start up (bing) but then goes to black screen, no lockup
Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

..is installing windows XP correct?..or the motherboard drivers are correctly installed?..try to check the latest version for your motherboard drivers..OR, try to replace or swap a new memory into your existing memory..i hope it helps..^_^..
