Hello,

This problem just started. I still have a AOL (free therefore no support)e-mail address. Just recently whenever I open a e-mail or compose a e-mail my CPU pegs at 100%. I can browse the AOL homepage and go to other websites from this portal with no problem. It is only related to e-mail. I don't have the problem with my other e-mail addresses through IE hotmail or Charter. I'm fairly confident that I don't have a virus as I'm vigilant with Malwarebytes, Superantispyware and Advanced System Care.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Problem is not directly AOL it seems, but may be with your browser when it is trying to load all the stuff on the pages there, I do not have AOL, but may be there are some sort of flash images etc on those pages which are being cached by IE. Try to load the same page using Google Chrome and see if it does same thing to CPU usage.
