Oh and a 56 k modem driver without a cd aswell?

A computer which has the setup files on the hard drive, but with no 32 bit operating system installed will not be able to run setup.

i dont have the set up files on my computer but i have windows installed could i get those set up files from another computer and run them? or could i download the set up files?

No not really but you could go to your local computer store and buy the cd.
as for the modem you could download the drivers from the manufactors web site .
