A friend has an old pc running win98 he bought a new dell with xp!
He needs some files off old pc but has no rewriter!!
It will take approx 70 floppies to take data,
Can i connect the 2 hard drives and transfer the data from old to new?

Set the old Drive to slave and the new drive to the master.
You can also just network the two amchines and transfer them over the network.. Seems like the betetr solution.
You coudl also use a DirectCable Connection form the parrel port to the other …

You coudl also use a DirectCable Connection form the parrel port to the other parrel port using an IPX cable and it will allow you to transfer directly over the Parrel port.
