compaq cq40 laptop when power light is on but dipla was not coming & nums lock ,caps lock key lights are blinking 4 times repeatedly........please telme if u guess the problem

That usually signifies either ram or graphics failure. Try reseating your ram. If that doesn't work you may have to take it to a professional for diagnosis!

Take it to somebody locally that can diagnosis it, could be anything from the drive failure, graphics, to a shorted capacitor.
