I am trying to create a PDF file that has typeable text boxes, so I guess I'm trying to create a PDF form. I'm using MS Word 2010 to create the document then I select Save As and select PDF. After doing this the text box does not show up in the PDF file so you're not able to input any text into the PDF document. Any ideas? Thanks.

Another option you can try is to use Adobe Lifecycle Designer i use it in my business you can find more information at the following link

From the adobe tools you can select the type of data box ie text, drop down etc. Obce selected you can place it in the rae of your form- i have seen where the word document fields are not converted (made fillable) so just select the text box and draw over the area and save when all is completed

try to copy the text in microsoft word and save it by PDF format.
