load needed dlls for kernel.

This error came up after my computer froze up while I was trying to
to do a cd recovery and it froze.

Since nothing will open,is there any way to fix the computer?
I had a set recovery cds but when I put them in the drive nothing happens.

If I buy the program Windows XP professional would it do the same thing or would it install the program?

Please help.
Thanks,
BarbE

Hi BarbE, and welcome to Dani Web.

It would help if you were to tell us what operating system you are using.

You may need to set the CD-ROM as the first boot device in order to use the recovery disc.

I am using windows xp professional. How can I make the cd-rom to boot first. I remember seeing this when I go to system (I think) after hitting F8. I could find it again. I am at home on my computer getting ready to go to work where my problem is. I wonder if I buy a xp cd if it will help?
Thanks
BarbE
