The tollbar on my buddy list is pink and won't change from pink, what do I do???

Ok I tried reinstalling aol, didn't work, I tried reinstallings it again, and it worked, dont know why but it only does the pink thing with 9.0 OPTIMIZED it wont do it with ANY other version, and i REALLY like optimized so if anyone has any ideas id really appreciate them. Another thing i realized, the whole thing wasn't pink just the bar, and it didn't have Windows buttons on the bar, strange.
