Computer while booting will see the CD-rom and harddrive then the screen goes blank and the text "YoYo" appears and that is it. The "o" look more like a small "8" laid on it's side.
It will not reconize XP CD or any other CD. I have GWSCAN and it will start the CD and go to A prompt when you pull a dir it isn't the file on the CD.

Do you have or have access to a external floppy?
sounds like you may have a MBR virus. If you can't boot to any a CD you will need a floppy internal if it has the header or a external get the HDD Manufactures sofware from there site do a zero write.
