Hi

My set up is

DSL netgear wired DG router
2 computers wired to router
1 of those computers connected with wifi to a laptop

i am using automatic ip addressing with the router being , and the computers being ,3

i want to share the internet connection to the laptop.
the wireless network connects, but when i try to enable internet connection sharing on the LAN connection on the computer, i tells me that:

'internet connection sharing cannot be enabled.
a LAN connection is already configured with the IP address that is required for automatic IP address.'

Any help is greatly appreciated

thinking that maybe the ip address of the router () maybe needed for ICS, i have changed the router to , and the two computers are now ,31. However this has not solved the problem , it still says that the IP needed for ICS is in use. im now stuck on what to try next

set router ip to , with computers as ,31
