Jump to PostDo you have active directory access? If not I think Filezilla would be your best bet but you would need to enable FTP on the PC you want to access, which isn't ideal long term.

no i dont know about ftp. I have a cable internet connection and there are other internet users in my area with the same cable internet connection. i was wondering if i can share any files over lan to and fro from other users?

To Access Lan computer all drives you should be an Administrator of that particular Domain and can gain access to all drives and folders and files .
