I have a Linksys WRT54G Router and just got anew DSL modem and was trying to get through the router set up and when I got to the point where he instructions said I needed to renew the PC IP address and have been unable to do so using their instructions.

When I follow their instructions the command prompt window is not the one that is necessary to make the changes.

I am running Vista Home Premium 64 bit.
I am connected and online , but my other pc is not.

Help please,
