Hi team

Need assistance or tips

Linksys wireless-G PCI adapter with speedboster on desktop

Netgear dualband wireless-N gigabit router

The computer connects to my neighbors network so i know it works
My other computers and phone are able to connect to the router w/o problem

But i can't connect this wireless adapter to the NetGear... Firewall is off in windOws XP

What do you think?

Oh and the router is visible but when i write my WPA key, it tries but doesn't connect

Oh and the router is visible but when i write my WPA key, it tries but doesn't connect

so ,does it give an error message or just doesn't connect ,are you sure the key you use is correct

Ah... I'll try a different key... It is definitely re la ted to that or might be something like a mode

check control panel network homegroup allow computer to share home network...

Router was set to accept WPA2... Adapter is only WPA...

So i changed the router to accept both WPA-PSK & WPA2WPA2

Thanks to caperjack i was condensing on that asPect
