I need help connecting my router. I have a D-link wired router and want to connect it to my cable. I know it is a simple thing to do, but want to make sure I do it correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey kkehler!

Very simple thing to do here.

1) Power off all components
2) Hook a networking cable from the cable modem to the Input or Internet port on your router.
3) Hook another networking cable from a port on your router to the back of your computer.
4) Power on your Modem and wait for the lights to come on.
5) Power on your Router and wait for 20 seconds
6) Power on your Computer.

Should be good to go!
Make sure your router doesn't require you to install any software on your computer first before you hook it up! Alot of Linksys' are like that.

Let us know if this works. Good luck!
