Hey all. I have a BT homehub in my house successfully working with two wireless computers. I have another PC in my room which doesnt have a wireless card/adapter. I do however have a D-Link 514 wireless router and some spare network cables. Is there any way I can use this as a wireless extender and then connect a cable from it to my pc.

Thank you. By the way I understand paying £20 for a usb wireless adapter would be easier but I have no cash lol :D

why dont you just replace the hub with the router?

only if your D-Link has a "repeater" or "WDS" mode where you set the network name , channel, and security to match your BT homehub... in short, I doubt it, but maybe.

why dont you just replace the hub with the router?

the "homehub" is an all in one thing for tv, phone and net . you cant just replace it
