Ok, I just finished building a computer.

Stats -
- Intel Celeron E3300 GA775 (new)
- msi G41TM-E43 mobo (new)
- 1gb PNY DDR2 PC2-5300 ram

Now, here is the problem.. This lovely thing will not boot, will not POST, will not do anything, the monitor only shows a black screen, or a no signal flag before going to black screen.

Now, I'm not mentioning the hd I tried to use, because I've moved on to not having it plugged in, it's no longer an issue, the same with the optical drive. At this time I don't even have the memory plugged in, only the cpu and it's fan.

Am I looking at a dead motherboard/CPU here? Or is there a possibility of some other issue I've not thought about?

Never mind... I'm just stupid, it seems my mobo needed the extra 4 pin power plug along with the 24 pin regular atx power plug
