Is the anyway I can partition my External HDD without formatting it? Does Partition Star or partition manager can help me ? Pls

i think u should use partition magic and resize your current partition.by this way data wont be lost and then you can have a separate partition in your drive.

Hello,

You can resize your external hard drive without any additional software.

If you are running windows 7/8 search for diskmgmt.msc and run that. (Search from the start menu on windows 7 or using the charms on windows 8)

You'll be presented with another window and if you right click on your external drive you can 'shrink' it (make sure you select the correct partition). With the unallocated space left you can create more partitions.
