Do you mean then that NOFOLLOW links get second (or last) priority? So that--say theoretically--all of the DOFOLLOW links are crawled, the Google goes on to the NOFOLLOW ones?

The NoFollow links are of no use because the rel="nofollow" tag is made to indicate the search engine robots "Not to crawl the hyperlinks in the body of this document".

So, though the search engine crawls the content the links will not be crawl and cannot be counted as a backlink.

I am totally agree with Hafsoh, web directories is always a good start for a newbie and are much beneficial for new sites.

That's fine, if the forum is allowing you to repost an article its a plus point for you. The unique article is what attracts visitors to site and as well as signature is the second place where you can market your site.

No, i don't think that only social networking and forum posting is enough for 1st year to get backlinks, that's why i have suggested other methods.

And yes, if you are getting enough traffic to your site, why not you will get the customers?

Yes, I do agree with WebDave, Web directories with No Follow links are useless, we don't get any kind of profit from them, submitting them is totally waste of time. Not all the web directories are No Follow, only 1 or 2% are nofollow directories.

vectro, Both the directories are very helpful for your site. Both directories will bring a constant traffic to your site.

angie thom, for you first please go thru this thread and you will find some good methods to get one way links without exchanging links with other sites. And if you are interested in link exchange then, you should find relevance websites to your site niche. If they got the same PR as yours, request them for one way links and if they got higher PR then reciprocal is the best option.

I have not yet used that tool, but as i've gone thru few forums and seen the reviews of people about that tool...... i think the tool is fine. Just make sure it it brings a limited links per day.... coz google don't like huge backlinks in just one day.

I really think that you should go for link building. Just get some backlinks first by doing article directory submissions, web directory, forum postings, social bookmarking & social networking, link exchange with relevance sites & blog comments, etc. Once your backlinks are increased then you don't need to find customers. Customers will come to you walking.
So Chill..... and start working on it now.
