its win vista, thanks for the reply over the few days i was tweaking it and i was able to check everything and the cause of the problem is the omnipass fingerprint log-in software.
Can somebody help me with this problem? i am running vista using admin account, however when i log off from i can see two active users running on the system. check the user account still i can't fix it.

Actually I was having the error before I unistalled. All of the sudden it stopped working. That is why I unistalled in the first place. You might say that the settings changed when a new version of firefox was installed, but my laptop continued working fine, and none of my friends had that problem

thats good to hear, i can probably guess why it change it is possible that when you uninstalled mozilla your settings change. thats probably one of the many reasons why that happen.
Hi thanx for reply, well i already try this one but it didn't work out still same message. It says type the port number which is already in there. How do i know, is there any way to find out the port number? currently I'm using internet by Wi-Fi. It shows on my Intrnt connection status.

please try this clear you cache and cookies offline. temp disable your firewall. try to browse and check if the issue still exist. uninstall and reinstall your browser this time temp disable anti-virus and firewall and try to browse.
Is anyone having this problem? I have a Toshiba Laptop and Vista is the O/S. I use it for home. I have a Realtek wireless network adapter. Linksys is the router. I am having trouble connecting to the internet. It was working fine for 5 months and then a couple of weeks ago no internet connection at all. On the wireless network adapter properties, IPv4 is local and the IPv6 is limited. I tried pinging the IP address and the computer said invalid IP address. Question is where does the IP address go? On the IPv4 or IPv6 configuration for the wireless network adapter? What should my LAN configurations be? It also has IPv4 and IPv6 configurations but I have it set to autoconfig. I also tried disabling the wireless network and enabling it again. I tried ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew and that doesn't seem to do anything. I also disabled the microsoft windows firewall. I am at my wits end.

what i did with that problem is that i checked the router first and cleared its logs updated the firmware, and check the settings and updated the settings in my laptop. first thing i did is deleted all connections and reconnected again 2nd thing is i deleted the list of connection and left one for my home connection, anf it worked.
To summarize everything you all said, PPC can give you quick and fast results however you spend more, while as with SEO it takes a long time to get the results but it is cos efficient.

Hey , I have a problem.I use Windows 7 ultimate , and chrome as a default browser.I connect using a DSL modem.It says it is connected and I can only browse with firefox.IE , Chrome , Opera does not work. I use Avast! anti-virus.
is this a brand new PC? did you try to change any settings before this happend? or change routers perhaps?
please try clear your cache and cookies offline. try to temporarily disable the firewall then try to connect and access some sites on those other browsers. On IE check for proxy settings. for the rest uninstall and reinstalls the browsers. please check your IP if your recieving 169.xxx.xxx., possible software conflict. or a configuratioin issue.
Does anyone can tell me why I'm facing this problem when I'm connected to the internet but my Internet Explorer cannot make a connection. It says Diagnose Connection problem, and when i click on that tab, dialogue box says "Change the proxy setting." agree with you all firefox 3.5 is the fastest i have been using firefox browsers for 2 years now and i seldom have problems with it, although sometimes it crashes, however it is performing by far better than IE 8.
i think it all depend on your capacity to grasp to different language at the same time and the keyword here is time, your time, your schedules, are you able to juggle the leasons at the same time? however i dont see any problem with as long as you can handle everything smoothly.
