I have received precisely one notification that this user has sent an inappropriate PM, and DaniWeb rules dictate that the user is warned on the first offence and then will receive 5 infraction points if they continue with their bad ways. 10 points kicks in a ban.
I am not psychic :)
YouCan has been warned that he cannot do this and if he continues he will be banned.
For what reason? We tend to only change usernames if there is a good one, rather than just do it upon request...
Hey what the hell is with my title being "Banned" ?
You know the rules Josh, and you know that this really is your final chance to play by them.
So, use offensive language in your signature and it will be deleted, you will get infracted and ultimately banned again unless very careful indeed.
Hopefully that is as clear as it needs to be!
are we able to share sites we use to get programs that are cracked i know i use a couple to get programs and see what they are like and familiarize myself with them i was just wondering if we could make a thread out of the sites we use
Just to confirm, do that and you would be in breach of the rules here - further more it would invoke an immediate 5 point infraction. It only takes 10 points to incur a ban.
It's always a good idea to take a look at the rules every now and then :)
>Uhm, I think its quite obvious what my name is supposed to be, would you mind changing it
You are a Hemswort no more :)
Done...
Welcome back to DaniWeb, whoever you might be - can't say I recall the incident you refer to.
However, we never kick someone off of DaniWeb for no reason...
Anyway, as long as you do not break the rules you should enjoy your stay this time around...
We do not expect members to send other members highly abusive PMs either. So please either calm down or grow up, preferably both...
And it is bad form to advertise your own site/service in the guise of answering a question or being helpful - with no hint that you are recommending your own business. That is treated as spam around these parts...
Please read the rules before posting, especially the one regarding the use of professional English...
Welcome to DaniWeb.
Sorry, it did get a bit lost in there. As John A says, no. Sorry...
Actually, playing online poker is not illegal in the US as far as I can see. The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act is concerned with blocking financial transactions related to gambling, but aimed at banks rather than individuals. There is no federal law banning the act of online gambling. There is plenty online about this issue, much of it rather confusing :)
Welcome. But please read the rules before you start 'marketing' anything to anyone, especially those regarding spam and advertising...
Are they professional bots? ;)
there are 4,267 IT professionals currently interacting right now!
Later down the page, the truth is revealed.
Currently Active Users: 4434 (57 members and 4377 guests)
So there were actually 167 more people interacting than the user was expecting. Result!
Turn the heat down people, or a big moderator flame extinguisher will be switched to max...

I assumed that you had changed it already, but perhaps not. Now I am confused :)
Cool huh?
When I saw the thread title I thought "at last, I can find out how old that tree in the garden is" - imagine my disappointment when I discovered we were not talking about radioisotope carbon-14 dating at all...
I'll get my (lab) coat.
Hello gurmukh singh, welcome to DaniWeb friend.
Hi Ken, welcome to DaniWeb from me in Superb South Yorkshire :)
Hello
Welcome to DaniWeb.
Hello, good morning, and welcome to DaniWeb.
Hi Stefano, good luck with the project and welcome to DaniWeb.
Hi Zivanayi, welcome to DaniWeb.
Big fat nerd, 44, bald, no social skills - seeks young dolly bird for a good time.
Somehow, I am not expecting a deluge of PMs... ;-)
A couple of points:
1. This is not the right forum to be asking such questions, it's just for saying hello and introducing yourself to the community.
2. If you expect an answer to a question then you have to ask something more specific than how long is a piece of string.
I suggest you have a rethink about exactly what it is you want to ask, then re-write the question accordingly and post it in an appropriate forum (so if what you are really asking is for ideas about a C++ coding project then post it in the C++ forum for example.)
Anyhoo, welcome to DaniWeb, Francesca.
Welcome to DaniWeb, but please no advertising URLs in your postings - you can create a signature and have links in there...
OK, thanks for that :)
Now, did you mean to post that here?
Welcome to DaniWeb by the way...
Hi Art, of course you are welcome, in fact have a welcome to DaniWeb on me. :)
Welcome to DaniWeb, Tim.
Hi Otto, welcome to DaniWeb.
Hi Fayaz, welcome to DaniWeb all the way from slightly damp South Yorkshire...
Hi Jennifer, welcome to DaniWeb.
Not sure where you are looking, but there are hundreds of new forum posts every single day of the week, thousands every week.
Hi Mark, welcome to DaniWeb.
Welcome to DaniWeb.
Hi Emyr, welcome to DaniWeb.
I am closing this thread as it really does not belong here, is not discussing Windows software such as Word etc, and has become something of a spam hole.
Actually, the posting 'format' in question was to do with which forum(s) the message ended up in and how many of them were posted. I am sure you are not suggesting that people should happily post as many duplicate messages in any old forums they feel like...
This was a genuine mistake, Alethea has had the good grace to admit that and say sorry. I hope she gets the help she is looking for with this, and meets her deadline.
Sorry To Say It Is A Illegal Work That To Answer Instead Of You.
Sorry, but that is absolute nonsense!
As a freelance journalist myself I can assure you that asking experts for comment/research which is then quoted within the context of a piece, and duly accredited as such, is most certainly not illegal, unethical or anything other than normal working practise.
Hi Des, welcome to DaniWeb from another Brit.
