Hi.I'm using aldo screen capture tool and getting bad results.I thought I could take more than 15 captures at a time after I had seen their webpage.Unfortunately , I can press printscreen many times while the application is running but when I go back , i can see only one capture has been taken ? Why ? I tried to take in-game screenshots but even the only 1 that I took was bad, blurred.Any suggestions anyone ?

Um, im sure there are some good screen capture programs out there, google one up and see what ya find.

Gadwin Systems "Print Screen" Program works very well. It's Fast and You can specify whether to take pictures of the current window, the active window, selected window, screen box selection or full screen, you can set it to automatically save to a file with a preset file name (e.g. filename001.jpg, filename002.jpg) and you can set it to save to whichever folder you want. You may also want to try snag it, if you are trying to take advanced screenshots, snagit can take screenshots from direct X movies and games as well!

Yeah, there are numerous screen cpturing programs. I use a program which can capture screen and create video files instead of jpegs! It's Screen VidShot Quite handy and useful tool...

Good luck!

SnagIt! is also a very good screencap tool, but it's rather expensive.

I tried many programs. I use uvScreenCamera.

I use SnagIt too. I like the company's products in general, such as Camtasia Studio, for making videos of your desktop.

As for your problem,i am not quite sure that but you can try ACA capture PRo.... ,it is not only capturing the video,it can also capture almost all kinds of files such as swf, all static images, flash on the website, window's menu item...Moreover, ACA capture PRo support selected-area capture function, it is mean that you have a more flexible screen capture resolution.....

I've used HyperSnap. It had the most options I needed (included command line invocation). The author is also very responsive to bugs and requests.

Capture webcams, streaming video, full screen, part of the screen and even video with sound. Seeing is believing! Use Webcam Video Capture to make people witness what you want to convey through an audio-visual medium. There are times when sharing exactly what you see on your screen is the quickest and clearest way to communicate.
* Capture and Share Anything : Webcam(s), any window, part of the screen or full screen to AVI or WMV video formats.
* Instruct Others With Quick "How-To" Illustrations : Demonstrate a product, create a presentation with your own audio narration, make a voiceover tutorial, or walk through a website review

HoverSnap is another light, good, easy to use screen capture utility. This company has also developed RegSeeker, which is anther great utility that I frequently use.

What's a good screen capture tool ?
Screen VidShot...

I use scrot.

I like Total Screen Recorder, which could record webcam video, desktop video and upload the video to youtube freely. It could record the video as long as you wish. Not like the other screen recorder, which just let you record one minute or with large watermark on the video.

I use MWSnap (http://www.snapfiles.com/get/mwsnap.html)

Though it comes as an installable utility, it works fine out-of-the-box and is a great addition to my USB "utility stick" I use when I go to someone's house to help them out with IT issues.

Debut Video Capture is a great one. It allows a microphone for video tutorials recording the screen in real time and can take pictures. Also you can select a portion of the screen to be recorded with many different encoders along with many other features and it's freeware. The best video capture program I have ever used. Also if you ever want to extract images from a video capture you can use Rad video tools which is also free. Amazing what you can get for two cents.

Camtasia Studio 6

Camtasia Studio 6

Looks like it has quite a few features, but it is rather expensive :-O

i'm only use "Print Screen" very easy to use....hihi

For screen capture you should have a look at Screenpresso. It is the most complete (both image and video capture), light, easy to use and beatiful software. There is also a document generator.

The Windows 7 Snipping Tool works jst fine.

For video capture, I just use RecordItNow.

For snapshot, I just use the "print screen" button, which pops up the KSnapshot utility.

As you may have guessed from those links, I use Linux with KDE as desktop environment.
