Hello everyone, I am new to this discussion. I really want to believe that I will get some guidance here,Can anyone help me to find out the procedures for getting vehicle license in Canada?

I lived in Canada for 8 years. We only had to go to the ICBC since we were in BC and ask. Our drivers license from the USA was good for many months as we navigated ICBC's requests and testing.

Just a thought - have you ever considered googling "how to license a vehicle in Canada"? Near the top is a link to this guide.

If, instead, you are referring to getting a driver's licence, then you should have been clearer with your question.

I am not clear with your question, but I guess you are asking how to get a driver's license. So, I am going to respond in this context:

See, every province in Canada has its specifications and rules. But the following three steps of the Graduated Licensing Program are necessary to be followed everywhere:

  • A knowledge exam: You need to take this exam to first get your learner's license. Instead of a written test, it can also be an eye test. But this permit will not allow you to drive solo. You need to be accompanied by someone while driving.

  • Intermediate Permit: After a year of practice, you can take a test for an intermediate permit. Once you pass this test, you can drive all alone. But you cannot use any electronic device or consume drugs or alcohol while driving.

  • Full License: You will be allowed to take a test after 1 to 2 years to attain a full license.

I am linking an article (https://www.justforcanada.com/can-you-drive-in-canada.html#/) that will help you better understand the system.
