I am forming my business into a LLC (Limited Liability Company) that does not fall under any of the prefences for an EIN according to the IRS; yet the company who is helping me LLC says that I need one. Do I need an EIN if I am the only worker and do not plan on hiring anyone? I would really like the opinion from someone who runs an LLC. Thank you. I hope I got the right forum this time!

why don't you spend $50.00 and go ask a lawyer that specializes in such things.

I don't have 50.00 to spend.
