The main slogan of e-commerce sites is to offer. Developing a web page is simply a matter of flavor but still there are some factors that must be prevented.
Here are some such factors that I find all e-commerce sites must avoid:
Tiny Fonts:
Since cellular purchasing is becoming the most recent pattern, e-commerce sites must style their web page maintaining in concern the comfort of their prospective cellular guests. Using small print styles on your web page can make it difficult for cellular customers to study it as well as to simply click without cruising.
No Delivery Quote:
Every client viewing your on the internet shop will always want to know how much price will he/she have to pay for a particular item, such as its shipping price. But being the proprietor of an e-commerce web page you must be accountable enough to check such mistakes and fix them as soon as possible.

Fast respond. I hate it when I want to shop on online store, they provide chat service but they give slow respond.

Service have to be too fast and be careful about the products quaity.In a single word donot try to cheat anyone by not refunding amount(if refund offer given),quality of product or service,timely delivery,instant response etc are very important.

Never save your CC there & after every transaction check your account whether they have saved your card or not...

Keep your products updated on ecomerce site,
Provide a good user interface to your users and keep controls user frindly, so intended users can easily use them.
And as shahneel355 said if costomer suffers because of your fault then take appropriate action to rectify your mistakes,
And keep advising your costomers of phishing etc. and keep good security checks.

The same concept for closing sales in eCommerce applies, just as for in person sales, and that is the concept of know, like and trust. There are unique ways to convey know, like and trust online. For example; contact information, great reviews, a thorough knowledgebase, quality live-chat and so on.

dont leave the personal data on the ecommerce sites just like the bank accounts number or credit cards number
