i just wanted to introduce myself i am new to this fourm it looks like it has good info i have a dell gx 150 it looks like ide controler is bad (ide1) i think the motherboard is going bad any suggestions?

the cd drive does not work so i swapped the hdd and cd cable on the mothboard the cd drive works and the hdd does not on system set up it says ATAPI device but it still doesnt work i think i am going to junk it
