This isn't really a dead PC question, more like a quirk I'm having with my rig.

Whenever I shutdown the PC all the parts turn off, but the Power LED light stays on. The only way I can turn it off is by holding down the power button for 5 seconds, or by flipping the switch on the Power Supply. I've searched google and tried a few things but nothing has helped so far, any suggestions would be appreciated.

For reference the parts I used are a Gigabyte P35 Chipset Mobo, Corsair 650W PowerSupply, e8400 Core2Duo, 4GB OCZ Ram, EVGA 9600GT Video Card, Seagate 250GB Hard Disk, all running on Vista HP 64-Bit.

That is strange, have you checked to see if you could change a setting in the bios?
