Hello,
My Sony Vaio VGN-NR10E, has stopped seeing CDs/DVDs. It just sees them as a blank disc and when loaded shows only option for burning the same. The CD/DVD hardware is a MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ870QJ ATA Device.

I've also tried all the obvious things such as cleaning, installing the driver again ,, etc.

My Matshita DVD-RAM QJ170UJ cannot see any cd. It can only read dvd. I've tried solving this problem by removing the upper and lower class but yet the problem remains. What do I do?
