CD Rom Issue

Can anybody tell me .Why i am getting error .
F:/Is not Accessible.or Incorrect Function.Kindly let me know the
idea.any help would be highly appreciated.

It's probably a faulty cd rom drive. That's just a guess as you have given very little information to work with.

When i insert the new cd in to the cd rom.i got error

Does it happen with all disks? Is it just a cd rom or is it a cd burner?

Do you have any other CD's to try in the CD ROM drive?

If you do have other CD's try a different CD in the drive.

Have you tried disconnecting the drive and reconnecting it?
Turn off the PC and try the above.

if it won't work perhaps it is time to invest in a new CD/DVD drive.
