Hi guys,
Silly question here...
Ive just changed mother board and when i shut down system, it automatically turns on again. The on/off button does stick slightly but i was just wondering if by mistake did i by insert leads( + -) on motherboard the wrong way...

Could this be the problem OR its just the switch sticking?

Thanks

Hello,

Do you mean you shut the computer down by pressing the power button?

If you are using windows does it say shutting down or restarting?

Sorry if i was not that clear.

Yes, if i select 'shut down' from taskbar, the computer shuts down normally. The pc powers off but after a second, the pc powers on again and windows starts up again...

Hi Guys,
Does anyone has a solution to my problem? The actual case connecters that attach to the mother board (reset button, power) do not have a + or - on them. Could my computer be reseting because the + and - are the wrong way around?

Thanks
