I use a HCL (India) make HCM580M monitor for my computer. From a few weeks back the monitor has been flickering and the display dims off slowly to a dark screen. If I thump the monitor softly/or even harder on the cover the display jumps back to its normal bright display but alas after some time it again dims away to darkness. Is it due to some kind of earthing problem? Or some bad components/ soldering getting loosened due to overheating? If so how to repair it?
