hey all my computer was running fine for afew years now it just randomly shuts down and starts beeping. sometimes it lasts for an hour or so sometimes not even 10 minutes, just wondering if anyone can help :)?

Let's see if I understand... You are working on your computer (notebook or PC?) and the screen will suddenly go blank. Right? Is there an error? Is there a pattern to the beeps? what do the lights on the pc and monitor do? Can you reproduce the problem on demand? Does it happen when running a certain program? Does it happen when the computer is idle, or active?

Re-install you OS if again the problem continues, then format the drive or check for the viruses with the latest updation. Clear your temp files, use disk cleanup, defragmentation and all. Then check it once if not get solved. format the os.
