I format my windows xp and reload xp but my some folder are encrypted they do not open ! they are in another drive . How to open?

right click the folder
go to security tab, select advanced
go to owner tab and claim ownership of the file.

Or something similar, if I remember correct :)

Anyway - the problem is about not being the owner of the file/folder.

one assumes you are logged on as an administrator too!
