I would like to know what kind of CPU architecture I should choose for creating my first operating system. I personally would like to give it a go with trying out a RISC type CPU, but if it's better to try it out on an x86 or some other type of CISC type architecture, that would be okay.
I just want some opinions on what I should try for a first go. My needs are not specific as this is the first one I'll be doing.
