i installed 256ram and how do i find out if i installed the ram correctly

Jump to Postgo to start menu, control pannel, system, and it should tell you the processor speed and amount of ram near the bottom right of the window that pops up.

Make sure you got the right one for your motherboard though.... ex, ddr, ddr2, etc.
